What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and device identifiers. They may be necessary for a service or used for preferences, measurement and advertising.
Our current use
We do not currently set optional analytics, advertising or cross-site profiling cookies through this website, and we do not use cookie-derived data to build visitor profiles. Basic hosting and security systems may process server logs; those records are described in our privacy notice and are not necessarily cookies.
Technologies we use
The list below is the complete set of technologies this website uses during your visit. We update this page whenever the list changes.
- ram-en:privacy-notice — Local storage, first party (RAM-EN). Category: strictly necessary. Purpose: remembers that you dismissed the privacy notice. Duration: 180 days. Never sent to our server.
- Google Fonts requests — Third-party request, not a cookie (Google). Purpose: loads the fonts used on the site. Your IP address and browser information may be sent to Google, which processes them under its own policies.
- Server logs — Not a cookie, hosting infrastructure. Purpose: security, abuse prevention and error diagnosis. Duration: only the operational period required.
Strictly necessary technology
When you dismiss the privacy notice using “Got it” or the close button, we create a local storage record called ram-en:privacy-notice. RAM-EN uses it only to avoid showing the same notice repeatedly. It contains the notice version, dismissal time and expiry time; it contains no visitor identifier or browsing history and is not sent to our server.
The record lasts for 180 days. On your next visit after expiry, or when the notice version changes, it is treated as invalid and the notice appears again. This is our chosen retention period, not a fixed period required by law. The record is limited to remembering the preference you requested; it does not represent consent to analytics or advertising.
External services
Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts. These requests may transmit your IP address and technical browser information to Google; the Google Fonts API does not set cookies. This does not mean our website uses an analytics or advertising tracking service.
Following a link, opening your email application or visiting a third-party platform may allow that provider to use its own cookies. Their policies and controls apply once you leave our website.
Future changes and consent
No optional tracking technology requiring consent is currently active. If we introduce analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will update this policy and notice and request separate, purpose-specific consent before activation where required. Dismissing this notice does not give consent to future technologies. Refusing optional technology will not prevent access to this website.
Managing your preferences
Use the Cookie Settings page to see and delete the record stored on this site. If you dismiss the notice again after deleting it, a new 180-day record is created. You can use the website without dismissing the notice.
You can also delete local storage or block storage entirely through your browser’s site data settings. The website keeps working if storage is blocked, but the notice may reappear on later visits.
